Ingredients

  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 tbsp chives
  • 250 g cooked chickpeas (cup)
  • 1 tsp umeboshi paste (= Japanese salt-pickled plum paste)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp white tahina (= sesame seed paste)
  • pinch paprika powder
  • pinch cumin
  • pinch cayenne pepper
  • pinch seasoning salt

Preparation

  1. Peel and dice the garlic finely.
  2. Dice the chives finely.
  3. Mix the chickpeas, the umeboshi paste, sesame oil and garlic in the Xpower chopper.
  4. If the hummus is too dry, add a small amount of chickpea liquid.
  5. Add the white tahina and the spices with the seasoning salt to the hummus and mix well.
