Wok
A wok is a semi-circular, hollow pan - making it deeper than a normal frying pan. A wok is used to stir-fry vegetables, fish and meat quickly, at a high temperature. As such, a wok pan is relatively big, with a high rim and a concave shape. A wok is perfect for stir-frying, but you can also use it for deep-frying, steaming, and stewing or simmering.
