Recipe Healthy wurger

4 waffles = +/- 2 healthy wurgers

Cooking time: 20 minutes


Ingredients:

For the waffles: 

  • 125 ml oat milk
  • 100 g spelt flour
  • 25 g oats
  • 1-2 tsp cinnamon or speculaas spices
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda or sodium bicarbonate
  • Pinch of salt

For the filling: 

  • 1 tbsp agave syrup (optional)
  • Coconut shavings (optional)
  • 2 tbsp thick yoghurt
  • Fresh fruit of your choice

 

Method:

 

  1. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for the waffle with a whisk to form a smooth batter. 
  2. In the Wafflelicious, fry the waffles for 3 minutes until they are golden brown. 
  3. Spoon some yoghurt onto a waffle and top it with a few slices of fresh fruit. 
  4. Drizzle a little more agave syrup on the fruit and some coconut shavings, if desired. 
  5. You can also cover the waffle with a second waffle to form a wurger.
