DOMO Passion fruit sorbet Ice Cream Maker

Passion fruit sorbet

Time: 30-40 minutes

Ingredients

  • 350 g sugar
  • 400 ml water
  • 1 kg passion fruits
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Preparation

 

  1. Place the sugar and water in a saucepan and bring the mixture to the boil.
  2. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the sugar has completely dissolved.
  3. Remove the pan from the heat and allow the syrup to cool.
  4. Cut the passion fruit in half and scoop out the pulp.
  5. Push the flesh through a fine sieve to remove the seeds. You will have about 250 ml passion fruit juice.
  6. Pour this juice and the lemon juice into the sugar syrup then stir.
  7. Pour the mixture into the ice cream maker.
