Ingredients
- 400 g spaghetti
- 400 g mixed minced meat
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 500 g canned tomato cubes
- 1 tbsp spaghetti seasoning
- 1 tbsp Provençal herbs
- 10 small mozzarella balls
- 4 black olives
- Fresh oregano
- Olive oil
- salt and pepper
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Cook the pasta in lightly salted water until al dente.
- Season the minced meat with salt and pepper.
- Roll the minced meat into balls and put the meatballs into the oven for 15 minutes.
- Press the garlic and chop the onion. Then sauté them in a saucepan with olive oil.
- Deglaze the onion and garlic with the diced tomatoes. Season the sauce to taste with salt and pepper, spaghetti seasoning, and/or Provençal herbs.
- Let the sauce cook for 10 minutes on low heat.
- Cut the mozzarella balls into slices and top each meatball with a slice.
- Slice the olives and place a piece of olive on each mozzarella slice.
- Place in the oven for another minute until the cheese has just melted.
- Drain the pasta and mix it into the tomato sauce.
- Scoop up the pasta and divide among the plates.
- Scatter the meatballs between the pasta and garnish with some fresh oregano.
