Puff pastry butterflies with smoked salmon

Time: 20-25 min.


Ingredients

  • 1 roll puff pastry
  • 6 slices of smoked salmon
  • 1 egg yolk, beaten
  • pepper

Preparation

 

  1. Preheat the deli-fryer to 200 °C.
  2. Unroll the pastry and place the smoked salmon on it.
  3. Season the salmon with a pinch of pepper.
  4. Cut into slices of approx. 4 x 10 cm.
  5. Roll both sides of the slices toward the centre.
  6. Brush the butterflies with the beaten egg yolk.
  7. Bake the butterflies at 180 °C for 12 to 15 minutes.
